The Process

STAGE 1: Pre-filtration
STAGE 2: Hollow Core membrane
(Membranes commonly last 6 to 8 years)
STAGE 3: Activated Carbon
STAGE 4: (optional) Reverse Osmosis
STAGE 5: Ultraviolet Disinfection
STAGE 6: Chlorination

The heart of the DR series is our Hollow Fiber Ultrafiltration (UF) Membrane with a product turbidity of <0.1 NTU.

Ultrafiltration (UF) is a technique for separating dissolved solids, suspended solids, bacteria, viruses, endotoxins and other pathogens to produce water with very high purity and low silt density. This hollow-fiber ultrafiltration membrane was designed and manufactured to remove suspended particulates, colloidal material, bacteria and high molecular weight material greater than 0.1 micron.
